"What CEOs Want From HR and How to Deliver"

The HR professional's familiar dilemma is this: How to gain maximum visibility, respect and legitimacy among senior operating executives as a broadly knowledgeable business-minded contributor...not just a niche specialist...the often-heard quest for a place at "the strategic table".

Steven Harrison and Kathy Carmean, of Lee Hecht Harrison will draw from their collective experience of over 34 years in HR, and over 29 years with leadership roles in a global company partners with companies on how to most effectively develop their talent.

Steve will dispel many of the myths around this issue citing legitimate research that should clear up many of the assumptions about operating leaders' mindset related to HR. As part of his highly interactive presentation with lots of giveaway prizes, he will provide actionable recommendations so that participants can be viewed as an indispensable "number one, number two!" As former GE CEO, Jack Welch recently said: "If there was ever a time to underscore the importance of HR, it has arrived."
